Customising your Medicovi insole

  • The length of Medicovi insole must correspond to the foot but in such a way that there is no water under the toes.
  • Place the Medicovi insole in the shoe with the netting facing the foot, making sure that the heel is hard against the inside heel of the shoe.
  • The Medicovi insole is 2 mm thick. The shoe should be large enough for the foot to be able to move once the sole has been inserted.
  • The Medicovi insole is made to fit two shoe sizes. The toe piece, which does not contain water, may be cut to the desired shoe size with scissors. Fore example from size 43 to size 42.
  • In open shoes without heels, the Medicovi insole must be securely attached to the inside bottom of the shoe. In shoes without a heel back a piece of Velcro can be placed on the bottom of Medicovi insole across the sole over the welding pattern just after the heel.

Getting used to the watersoles

The Medicovi medical insole increases circulation in the feet and legs through strong activation of the foot sole as well as the calf and foot muscles. Sore muscles may be experienced at first until a reasonable state of fitness has been achieved. Some people may initially think that the watersoles contain unequal amounts of water. The reason for this is that our feet have different tolerance levels and this sensation will quickly disappear. Anyone suffering from dizziness may experience problems with the sole due to the continual movement of the foot and should not wear the watersoles. Clinical tests have showed that the watersoles help to improve posture and balance.

Washing your insole

Medicovi Watersole can be washed with normal laundry detergents at temperature of up to 40ºC

The fat from sweaty feet can fasten to the cotton fabric causing the moisture absorbent effect to decline. The Medicovi Watersole can be washed with normal laundry detergents at temperature of up to 40ºC. If machine washed, a wash bag must be used.
